Most families have cemetery plots that allow only flat markers. Flat markers are memorials that are set level with the ground. These markers are set with a concrete border and then placed flush with the ground, so only the surface of the stone is visible. They can be engraved with any of the engraving techniques.The typical sizes of flat markers are 6×12 or 8×16 for infants and cremations, and 12×24 or 14×30 for adults. We also do custom sizes for cemeteries that allow them. It is important to check with the cemetery ahead of time to ensure that a headstone with the correct dimensions is ordered.
