How can we begin the process of ordering a monument or memorial?
You can make an appointment at any of our locations to begin designing on the spot. All we would need is your loved one’s full name, date of birth, date of passing, and the cemetery they are located in. If you are thinking of adding a picture to the memorial, you can either email us the picture or bring it in for a quick scan. If you live out of state, we can assist you via email and phone. After you are set with a design, we can get started on production, have you view the stone in person, and have it delivered for you to the cemetery.
How long does it take to get a memorial or monument made?
Flat markers can range anywhere from 4 weeks to 10 weeks depending on the options you’ve selected, and for Upright Monuments between 2 Months to 8 Months depending on the options you’ve selected.
What is the typical cost of a headstone or memorial?
Flat markers start at about $450 and small Upright Monuments can start at about $1800
Do you offer services to engrave a date of passing for an already existing headstone?
Yes! If you want to add something extra to an existing memorial/monument such as a name, date, or inscription, Beer Monument Works can take care of that for you. For flat granite markers we typically have a flat rate with additional costs for bronze markers, extra wording, and for uprights, it also depends on how much writing and the size of the stone.
Are the Headstones and Photo-Inserts long lasting?
Yes! We only use the highest quality granite, marble and bronze to create your loved ones memorial. The photo-inserts we use are made specifically to hold up to outdoor weather conditions.
Are there any other fees I need to be aware of after purchasing a headstone?
Most cemeteries do NOT allow third parties such as Beer Monument Works, Inc. to install flat markers unless there is special permission from the cemetery. For uprights, however, we usually install the top portion while the cemetery takes care of the base. Please ask us or check with the cemetery for specific details.
Who will be delivering and installing my loved ones memorial?
We do all deliveries unless the situation is a special circumstance. A lot of cemeteries do NOT allow third parties such as Beer Monument Works to install flat markers unless there is special permission from the cemetery. For uprights, however, we usually do both, delivery and installment. Again, all of this would depend on cemetery rules.
