Serving The Community Since 1946

The Beer family has been in the monument business since 1933. In 1946 Beer Monument Works was opened on tenth Ave., by Harold Beer in Kingsburg, California, just north of the Kingsburg Cemetery.

In 1966, Harold welcomed his son Gordon as an employee. A little over 16 years later, Harold sold the business to his son Gordon and his wife Jerry who then continued the business servicing the families and its community in the immediate area. These areas included, Kingsburg, Selma, Dinuba, Reedley, Sanger, Fowler, Washington Colony and Laton.

The family business continued to make bronze and granite benches and memorials for families and public spaces like schools, offices, and community service organizations. Gary, Gordon and Jerry’s son, kept Beer Monument Works up and running until Jerry’s retirement. The Beer family sold the company to a valued employee who kept the Beer business name to commemorate the family and the well established business.

Beer Monument Works now has three locations; Kingsburg, Fresno and Sanger and continues to grow. We hope to keep servicing our Central Valley communities and reaching out to more families. Our number one goal is to provide a quality products while assisting our customers in designing the everlasting memorials of their loved ones. We want our customers to feel welcomed and have an easy experience process into finally resting their loved ones, because we know that loosing a loved one is a challenging, emotional and overwhelming experience.

“We talk about them, not because we’re stuck or because we haven’t moved on, but we talk about them because we are theirs, and they are ours, and no passage of time will ever change that.”
